Graphite based dry film lubricant

Graphite based dry film lubricant

Graphite based dry film lubricants are typically used in applications where the operating temperature would breakdown alternative dry film lubricants such as Fluoropolymers, Molybdenum Disulphide or Tungsten Disulphide. Graphite dry film lubricants are best suited for lubrication in air, as the presence of water vapour is key to maintaining its lubricating properties.

Graphite based coatings provide in application lubrication at temperatures up to 650°C.
