Poland’s potential for Aerospace success recognised in joint trade mission

May 8, 2018

The wealth of opportunity in Poland’s thriving aerospace sector was recognised in a recent trade mission, organised by the Midland Aerospace Alliance and Santander UK.

The trade group visited local plants and potential partners, with the key aims of brokering export deals, identifying opportunities to expand operations and to capitalise on the strong trading relationship the UK and Poland enjoy.

The mission was arranged in partnership with Bank Zachodni WBK (part of Santander Group), global advisory firm Altios International and Poland’s largest aerospace cluster, the Aviation Valley Association.

One of the four site visits conducted was to the Poeton Polska plant, located in Rzeszow, the centre of the Aviation Valley Association. The city is home to the country’s largest aerospace cluster and nationally the sector has over 200 companies generating revenues of more than £1billion annually.

Poeton is proud to be playing a key role in the growth of Poland’s aerospace industry and looks forward to hosting future trade missions from the UK.
