What is Plating?
Plating is a manufacturing process in which a thin layer of metal is deposited on a substrate, typically a metal or composite. This can be achieved through electroplating, which requires an electric current, or through electroless plating, which is in autocatalytic chemical process.
One of the primary advantages is to improve corrosion resistance, wear resistance, electrical conductivity or even to provide a decorative finish.
