At Poeton we are committed to providing ground-breaking surface treatment solutions and through our partnership with US based General Magnaplate we can offer some of the most technically advanced options available, including Tufram and Nedox.
The Poeton – General Magnaplate relationship stretches back over 30 years, in which time various treatment solutions along with expertise have been shared in order to provide the complete range of surface coatings to customers on both sides of the Atlantic.
Poeton can currently offer the following General Magnaplate solutions:
Tufram – also known as Apticote 350, a hard anodising process that outperforms conventional hard anodising with increased corrosion resistance, friction reduction and hardness.
Nedox – also known as Apticote 460, a Nickel Polymer composite coating that offers high adhesion, wear resistance, hardness, corrosion resistance and permanent lubricity.
Plasmadize – an enhanced thermal spray with increased lubricity and mould release properties. Plasmadize provides salt spray resistance of up to 4000 hours in addition to abrasion and wear resistance and a coefficient of friction as low as 0.13.
Lectrofluor – a polymer-based treatment providing superior corrosion and chemical resistance, perfect for hostile environments.
Magnaplate 10K – a high temperature resistant polymer (up to 260°C) providing a non-stick surface with excellent hydrophobic and abrasion resistant properties.
