MIL-A-8625 Updated To MIL-PRF-8625F

The long-standing industry anodising standard, MIL-A-8625 has been revised, effective immediately.

This communication is to notify you and relevant departments of this change and to ensure that the new document reference is placed on purchase orders and to inform your quality and goods receiving departments.

We are hoping that this will prevent any potential hold ups in processing your order due to contract review queries.

The revised standard is titled MIL-PRF-8625F.

The changes are mainly administrative with some clarifications and deletions, but do not affect the anodising processes.
