Electroless Nickel PTFE
Electroless Nickel PTFE is a slick composite Nickel/PTFE coating that gives a low coefficient of friction without undermining the cohesion and the relative hardness of the coating. The particle size of the PTFE has been reduced to sub-micron spheres, achieving the optimum % content and even distribution.
The lubricating properties of the nickel/PTFE mix make it an ideal coating in situations where traditional lubricants are unsuitable and also exhibits low sliding wear and anti-galling properties.

Low friction & high wear resistance
Low coefficient of friction and good sliding wear characteristics.
Superb anti-galling & anti-seizure
Prevents seizing and galling when parts are fastened together.
Thickness range 5-20μm
Depending on the level of corrosion protection required, up to 20µm can be applied whilst maintaining and even coating.
A good hardness value as plated that can be increased if required with heat treatment.
