The Apticote philosophy involves far more than the
selection of surface treatments to meet specific design criteria.
Whilst providing a huge range of precisely defined surface treatments,
it also embraces the analysis of component material, the operating
conditions and the environment. As a consequence, it may suggest
a different component material to achieve the same performance objective.
Every Apticote process has been developed to out-perform
the characteristics of the conventional coating it replaces. So
each one improves product performance, increases reliability and
reduces the cost of component manufacture. The Apticote
range of surface treatments extends over electroplating, electroless
processes, anodic composites, thermal spraying and polymeric composites.
The unique ISIS software
(see the index in the left frame) is used in the selection of Apticote
processes. So whatever you need coated, from a tiny computer component
to a submarine turbine shaft, ask us first.
You can be sure of a very precise answer.
The information contained on
this web site is intended for guidance only. Whilst every effort
is made to understand the environment in which coating is designed
to work, success invariably can only be determined by trials and
in service testing.
