The Poeton One-Stop Shop at Cardiff in the UK offers every conceivable surface treatment for the aerospace industry, and all under one roof

Poeton offer a unique service to the Aerospace & Defence industry, in the form of an all inclusive treatments package that encompasses Non Destructive Testing (NDT), Electroplating, Anodising and Spray Painting.

Poeton enables you to reduce costs in transport, progress administration, inspection time and quality control documentation by bringing all these certified services under one roof, enabling customers to place a single order for multiple treatments on the same component batch.

Our Customers

Our customers range right across the aerospace and defence industries. However our One Stop Treatments Service is targeted at the prime contractor supply chain, that is companies who manufacture and supply components to the prime contractors such as British Aerospace or GKN-Westland.

Increasingly, our customers are aerospace prime contractor suppliers who are under pressure to supply finished components, parts that for example, may require hardness testing, magnetic flaw detection, nital (etch) inspection, stress relief (heat treatment), mask off and hard chromium plate on one diameter only, de-embrittle (heat treatment). The requirements may continue with; mask off again, cadmium plate remaining surfaces, de-embrittle (again), mask off and spray etch prime before a spray primer coat, top coat, then perhaps a lacquer before final part marking. Whilst several prime contractors have facilities to carry out these treatments themselves, their suppliers were at a distinct disadvantage in having to carry out three or four treatments subcontract operations in order to supply the finished product.
