Nickel Plating

Poeton offer a specialist heavy nickel plating service from the UK Gloucester facility.

Properties

Nickel gives excellent corrosion protection, either as a single coating or as an undercoat for hard chrome plate. It can also be used as a repair coating, filling worn areas or reclaiming undersize parts

Capacity

Capacity is limited to R & D only, due to lack of production demand. Due consideration will be given to re-instating and production capacity subject to a suitable business case being offered.

Thickness

Thicknesses can be up to 20mm or more, although plating time and cost is a consideration. The coating needs to be post finished to size.

Shafts, rolls, structural parts need corrosion protection, housings.
