European superkarts champion has a little help from Poeton

The Aptec Motorsport Division of Poeton Industries has helped Gloucester-based Gavin Bennett win the 2004 European Karting Championship.
Gavin has the pistons and cylinder bores of his superkart treated with motorsport's favourite coating Apticote Ceramic 2000. This unique surface treatment provides exceptional wear characteristics, low friction and excellent oil retention for some of the UK's leading karting, biking and motor racing teams.
The championship-winning technology is suitable for four-stroke and two-stroke engines, spark ignition and compression ignition, in both alloy and cast iron crankcases, from single cylinder to V12 applications.
