NADCAP APPROVALS FOR POETON INDUSTRIES

NADCAP, the worldwide programme of approvals for the aerospace and automotive industries is undertaking more than 3,000 audits around the world, costing industry millions of pounds. Approval provides international, unbiased and independent certification for manufacturing processes and products, enabling major companies to identify qualified supplier partners.

Surface coating specialist Poeton Industries, who joined the programme last year, is pleased to announce its NADCAP approval for Non Destructive Testing and Coating Processes at its aerospace 'One Stop Shop' in Cardiff, and for Thermal Spray Coating Processes at its Gloucester facility.

NDT approval covers Poeton's recently expanded facility, which offers magnetic flaw detection, electrostatic dye penetration testing, etch inspection and hardness and conductivity testing. The coatings approval covers all 'Chemical Process' coatings, including anodising, paint, hard chrome, etc. The Approvals are administered by PRI, the Performance Review Institute.

Poeton is also registered to BS 9002 SBAC TS 157 (Aerospace) and CAA, and holds approvals from leading aerospace manufacturers such as British Aerospace, Messier-Dowty, GKN Westland, British Airways, GEC, Rolls Royce, etc.
