Apticote 2000 helps Stephen Sword win a second British Motocross Championship
6th November 2003
Stephen Sword, riding a 125cc SX KTM bike with its cylinder bore coated by Poeton Industries, clinched his second British Motocross Championship for the Albion KTM Team when he won the opening race in the penultimate round of the 8-race series at Desertmartin in Northern Ireland.
The bike's cylinder bore was coated with Apticote Ceramic 2000, a coating specially developed for motorsport applications by Poeton's Aptec Division. This unique coating provides exceptional wear characteristics, low friction and excellent oil retention for the pistons and cylinder bores of some of the UK's leading high-performance biking, karting and motor racing teams.
