Poeton Industries Limited has awarded Master Craftsman certificates to three of its employees in recognition of their individual skills in highly specialised areas of surface coating technology.
Dr Keith Dennis President of the Institute of Metal Finishing presented the awards to Andy Goscombe (Anodising), Steven Hunt (Chromium) and Phil Lyne (Nickel).
Commenting at the presentation, managing director Colin John says that in the absence of an industry career track for these unique craft skills, the Poeton Master Craftsman awards were initiated in order to recognise career achievements within the company.
