Leading the way

Poeton Industries are proud to announce that its Gloucester facility has secured OHSAS 18001 approval.

OHSAS 18001 (Occupational Health and Safety Management System) is an internationally applied British Standard that exists to help businesses put in place demonstrably sound occupational health and safety performance procedures supported by regular internal and external auditing.

OHSAS 18001 promotes a safe and healthy working environment by providing a framework that helps businesses to:

Identify and control health and safety risks

Reduce the potential for accidents

Aid legal compliance

Improve overall performance

Successful acquisition of this standard demonstrates Poeton Industries commitment to the Health and Safety of all employees in its treatment facilities, where ever they are.

The Poeton group have also long held ISO 14001, the environmental management standard that exists to help organizations (a) minimize how their operations (processes, etc.) negatively affect the environment (i.e., cause adverse changes to air, water, or land); (b) comply with applicable laws, regulations, and other environmentally oriented requirements, and (c) continually improve in the above.

In addition, all the group’s treatment facilities also hold a plethora of aerospace surface coating approvals, including Nadcap and AS 9100 C.
